Weilin Li (M'16) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) degree from the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems, E.ON Energy Research Center, RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany, in 2013, all in electrical engineering.,He is currently with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University, as an Associate Professor. He has authored or coauthored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. His research interests include integration of renewable generations, protection in medium-voltage dc power systems, and power electronic applications in smart grid.
